I wanted to let you know that my wall unit was delivered yesterday and it is absolutely gorgeous! The wood is beautiful - so rich and warm and really compliments my hardwood floors. It has so much character! When I placed the order in July, I was concerned that the unit may be too big for my room, but it fits perfectly. And I absolutely love the bronze hardware I chose. The unit is truly stunning. I want to thank you for all of your help and patience working with me to write up the order. It arrived exactly as ordered. And please send my thanks and appreciation to the builder. What a superb craftsman. I am literally in awe of how beautiful this unit is, and clearly all of the meticulous detail that went into building it. I also cannot say enough about Jake, and his partner (I was remiss to get his name), who delivered the unit. Each piece was extremely well wrapped in blankets and secured in the trailer. They handled each piece very carefully and they were very meticulous in putting the unit together. It was clear they knew what they were doing, which I appreciated. And they hand-carried in each piece! And I know those pieces are heavy. Everything was handled with kid gloves. They were also very thoughtful about my home (Jake even asked if I wanted them to remove their shoes, which I thought was kind of him to ask). And they cleaned up very nicely before they left. And I must give extra thanks to them for having patience with me as I decided the exact spot for the unit. We started with it centered on the wall, but in the end, it landed about 6 inches or so left of center. They were just wonderful all the way around, and both were very kind. There is no doubt I would ask for them specifically, for any future Shipshewana Furniture purchases. And, after this experience, I'm pretty sure there will be. Thanks again for everything, and I look forward to seeing you the next time we're in Shipshewana.
